Accessibility statement

Align Aerospace is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. This website is designed to conform with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and meets Level AAA criteria for text contrast wherever practical. It is intended to satisfy the accessibility expectations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with landmark regions, a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
  • A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page and fully keyboard-operable navigation, menus and forms.
  • Visible, high-contrast focus indicators that are never obscured by sticky elements.
  • Text and background color combinations that meet at least a 4.5:1 contrast ratio, and 7:1 for body text. Interactive components and graphics meet 3:1.
  • Text that can be resized to 200 percent and content that reflows at 320 CSS pixels without loss of information or horizontal scrolling.
  • Meaningful alternative text for informative images, with decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields with visible labels, clear instructions, error messages that identify the field and how to fix it, and support for browser autofill.
  • Link text that describes its destination, with document type (for example, PDF) and external destinations announced.
  • Touch and pointer targets of at least 44 by 44 CSS pixels.
  • No content that flashes, and no auto-playing video, audio or carousels. Animation is subtle and disabled when your operating system requests reduced motion.
  • Pages render correctly in Windows High Contrast and forced-colors modes.

Known limitations

Some documents linked from this site, such as historical press releases and third-party certificates, are PDF files created outside this website and may not be fully accessible. If you need the content of any document in an alternative format, please contact us and we will provide it.

The inventory search, customer portal and careers application are hosted on third-party platforms. We work with those providers to improve accessibility but cannot guarantee their conformance.

Technical information

This website relies on HTML, CSS, WAI-ARIA and JavaScript to conform with the accessibility standards used. Every feature works without JavaScript; scripting only adds enhancements such as inline form validation.
